Lis is an experienced legal expert in real estate law with extensive experience since 2004. Before joining NJORD, she worked for nearly 15 years in a notary’s office, where she drafted contracts and other legal documents related to law of property, law of obligations, family law, law of succession and corporate law.

Lis assists clients in all transactions related to immovable property, from planning to successful completion. Her competence covers agreements for the sale of immovable property, co-ownership division, conclusion of lease and rental agreements, servitudes, building rights, construction and design contracts, and communication with the authorities. Additionally, Lis supports clients in resolving situations that arise during the execution of contracts. She also assists in the preparation of legal audits of real estate in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions.

In the field of succession law, Lis specializes in cross-border succession cases. She helps clients to carry out succession proceedings in cooperation with Estonian notaries, to register the property located in Estonia in the name of the successors based on succession certificates issued in a foreign country, to divide the estate between the joint successors and to resolve other issues related to the administration or realization of the estate.
