Paul is pursuing a Master’s degree in Law at the University of Tartu and works as an Associate in the dispute resolution team at NJORD Law Firm.

Paul specializes in dispute resolution in both civil and administrative court proceedings. His main areas of practice include contractual and non-contractual matters, as well as construction, planning, and environmental law. Previously, Paul worked for nearly three years as a Consultant at the Administrative Chamber of the Supreme Court of Estonia, gaining extensive experience in administrative court proceedings and in construction, planning, and environmental law.

During his studies, Paul has repeatedly achieved outstanding results in moot court competitions. In 2022, Paul and his team won the Estonian Moot Court Competition. In 2024, he placed third at the Telders International Law Moot Court with the University of Tartu team (2nd place for Applicant and 2nd place for Respondent).

In the spring of 2025, he participated in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, where law students from the University of Tartu made history – a team from Estonia and the Baltic states reached the elimination rounds for the very first time. The University of Tartu’s team ranked among the world’s top 32 out of nearly 400 participating universities, both in the oral rounds and in the Claimant’s written memorandum. The University of Tartu’s representative team also achieved 2nd place at the Florence Pre-Moot.

Paul has been coaching the University of Tartu’s teams for Willem C. Vis from 2025 onwards. Additionally, Paul has been an active member of the Estonian Law Students’ Union for five years, also serving as the Head of International Cooperation.
