We are delighted to announce the expansion of NJORD’s partnership. Marko Mehilane, Head of Public Procurement and Attorney-at-Law, has been promoted to Partner, while Sille Eerik, Head of Data Protection and Attorney-at-Law, has been appointed Associate Partner.
Marko Mehilane is a leading expert in public procurement and construction law. He specialises in structuring complex procurement and contractual processes, and in resolving disputes efficiently and thoughtfully. Throughout his distinguished career, Marko has advised on major tenders and supported both public and private sector clients, including some of Estonia’s largest public procurements. His strength lies in identifying patterns and transforming them into clear, logical action plans, bringing clarity to intricate processes—whether fine-tuning FIDIC-type contracts or untangling disputes. Marko contributes bold thinking and clear direction to the team, particularly in demanding, high-impact projects.
Sille Eerik is a highly respected data protection specialist, recognised for her practical and commercial approach. She excels at finding solutions to complex challenges, whether developing data protection strategies, responding to breaches, or representing clients before supervisory authorities, in court, or in communications with data subjects and the public. With a background in economics and extensive experience in business law and related fields, Sille ensures her advice is always strategically considered and supports clients’ business objectives.
